Polk Middle School’s cross country team will kick off its season Monday, Aug. 11, with the first practice scheduled at the middle school campus.
Practice sessions will run until 4:30 p.m., and participating students will receive a calendar outlining all practice dates and locations during the initial meeting.
Before being able to practice and compete, students must meet several requirements. All participants need an updated physical examination and a completed concussion statement form on file with the athletic department. Additional mandatory forms must be completed online and can be accessed through the Polk Middle School website.
