Polk County Middle School’s cross country teams wrapped up their regular seasons on Tuesday in competition at Rugby Middle School.

Haley Fowler ran a personal best time of 13:57 to place fourth for the Wolverine girls. Maranda Gosnell ran a 15:46, also a personal best, to finish 25th, while Haven Dufford finished in 16:00, also a personal best, and placed 27th.

The team finished fifth in the six-team event. The remainder of the squad included:

For the PCMS boys, Al Russell finished in sixth place with a time of 12:46. Zach Lambert placed 14th in 14:00, and Josh Poteat ran a personal best time of 14:31 to finish 21st.

The boys team also finished fifth in the six-team event. The remainder of the squad included:

The top seven finishers for both teams will compete in the Blue Ridge Middle School Conference meet on Tuesday atĀ Jackson Park in Hendersonville.
