R-S Central handed Polk County a 5-2 defeat Monday in a non-conference boys tennis match at Polk.
The Wolverines (5-3) got wins at No. 1 and No. 2 singles from Ryan Heider and Henry Heider, but the Hilltoppers swept the remaining singles matches and won at No. 3 doubles to seal the win.
The remaining doubles matches were halted due to the cold and windy conditions.

Polk County is scheduled to be back in action on Monday, hosting East Henderson.
