Polk County’s boys tennis team remained undefeated in Western Highlands Conference play on Tuesday, defeating Avery 7-2 in a WHC match at Polk.

The Wolverines improved to 4-3 overall, 2-0 in WHC play. A key conference match with Owen, also undefeated in league play, looms on Thursday.

“A good win against a decent Avery squad,” said Polk County head coach Richard Davis. “Probably as good as they have ever been from top to bottom.”
