Polk County’s boys tennis team dropped a tough 6-3 decision to Crest on Tuesday in non-conference action in Boiling Springs.

The Wolverines won two of the six singles matches, but lost a tiebreaker for another and also dropped a doubles match in which it held an early lead.

“We had some chances in this match to get a win but just couldn’t cash in on the opportunities,” said Polk County head coach Richard Davis.

The Wolverines host North Henderson on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
