Polk County’s junior varsity soccer squad notched its third straight tie on Wednesday, battling Hendersonville to a 2-2 draw in a Western Highlands Conference match in G.M. Tennant Stadium.

The Wolverines grabbed a 2-0 lead on goals by Evan Rimer and Grayson Jones, but Hendersonville fought back in the second half to earn the split.

Now 2-3-4 on the season, Polk County is next slated to be in action on Oct. 12 when the Wolverines host Crest.
