
Polk County’s junior varsity closed its season in style on Monday, posting a 4-1 win over Hendersonville in a Western Highlands Conference clash in Hendersonville.
The Wolverines end their season with a 5-4-4 record with the win.
Evan Rimer opened the scoring, tallying on a cross from Grayson Jones. Jack Tinkler then added an unassisted goal, dribbling in and scoring just as the halftime whistle sounded.
Kevin Sandoval added an unassisted goal in the second half before Dalton Osborn capped the scoring with a heady play, catching the Hendersonville goalkeeper near the top of the penalty area after a save and scoring from some 40 yards out.
Jonah Wyatt had seven saves for Polk County.
