Wheeler set for Saturday’s Blue-White game

Polk County’s Jamal Wheeler will compete with some of the area’s top senior basketball players in Saturday’s Blue-White All-Star Game.

The annual all-star games are to be played this year at Enka High School. Girls play begins at 6 p.m., with the boys following at 8 p.m.

Due to practice requirements that affected a number of Blue-White selections who also play spring sports, Polk County’s Hayley Kropp will not be playing in the girls game. The Blue-White game requires that players not miss any practice time nor be late for any practice during the week.

Tickets at the door are $10 for adults and $9 for students. Kids under 10 are free.
