Keasten Wilkins and Polk County earned their second win of the season on Friday

Polk County took command in the first half Friday and never relinqushed that, claiming a 38-24 win over R-S Central in junior varsity boys basketball action in Rutherfordton.

The Wolverines (2-11) built an 18-7 halftime lead, that margin including allowing just two points in the opening quarter to the Hilltoppers (1-13).

Jonathan Collier had 11 points and Chase Stansbury added 10 to help lead Polk to its second win of the season. Khristian Littlejohn added eight points, with David Duffy scoring six.

Cooper Rhodes added three points for the Wolverines, who will travel Friday to Chase for another Mountain Foothills 7 Conference battle.
