Polk JVs fall at East Henderson

East Henderson held Polk County to three points in the fourth quarter Tuesday to secure a 47-27 win in junior varsity boys basketball action in Flat Rock.

The Wolverines (1-6) trailed 19-16 at the half and 32-24 entering the final quarter, but were outscored 15-3 in the final period to fall to defeat.

Kris Littlejohn had nine points and six rebounds to pace Polk County, with Mackus Simpson adding six points and William Simpson scoring five points and eight rebounds.

Vincent Twitty had four points, with Amner Contreras scoring two and Kanye Staley adding one.

The Wolverine JVs will return to the court on Dec. 27, traveling to Montgomery County to take part in the Timberwolf Holiday Classic. The Wolverines will face host Montgomery Central on Dec. 27 at 1:30 p.m.
