Polk County's Khristian Littlejohn had 14 points in Friday's game

Patton grabbed an 11-point halftime lead Friday and made that advantage hold, downing Polk County 58-34 in boys junior varsity basketball action in Morganton.

Polk County fell to 0-4 with the loss in its first Mountain Foothills 7 Conference game. Patton improved to 2-3.

The Panthers had five 3-pointers in the first half in building a 29-18 lead at halftime. Patton finished with eight threes in the win.

Khristian Littlejohn had 14 points to lead Polk County, with Khalil Austin adding 11. Cooper Rhodes finished with four points, with Jonathan Collier scoring three.

Chase Stansbury added two points for Polk, which travels Monday to face Landrum.
