
Wolverine golfers top North Henderson, East Henderson at Crooked Creek
Polk County’s boys golf team earned another victory Tuesday, winning a tri-match at Crooked Creek Golf Course in Hendersonville.
The Wolverines finished with a team score of 337 to top North Henderson and East Henderson. The Knights finished with a 348 while the Eagles posted a 430.
Carson Emory led Polk County with a 78, with Evan Jones recording an 81, Avery Harden notching an 85 and Braxton Edwards finishing with a 93. Ben Korzelius added a 107 for the Wolverines.
North Henderson’s Adien Dillingham earned medalist honors with a 77.
Polk County is scheduled to be back in action on Wednesday, competing at Bright’s Creek, weather permitting.
