Rainy weather alters Monday high school events

All Polk County High School sports slated for Monday have been postponed.

Here is an update on makeup dates:

Girls Soccer: Polk County’s Western Highlands Conference game with Madison will be rescheduled for a later date to be announced.

Baseball: The varsity and junior varsity games with the WNC Trailblazers have been cancelled.

Tennis: Monday’s match at Avery has been rescheduled for Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. Also, Tuesday’s match with Hendersonville will be played at North Henderson at 4 p.m.
