Polk County’s wrestling squad ended its regular season Tuesday night, dropping a 70-9 decision at R-S Central.
Chase Emory scored a decision at 138 points and Devin Panchyshyn won his match at 195 pounds by pin for the Wolverines, who wrestled without middleweights Anthony Marino and Dustin Calvert, two of the team’s top wrestlers this season.
Polk County will now turn its focus to the postseason, beginning with Friday’s Western Highlands Conference tournament at Polk.
