Polk County will face Big South Conference champion Hunter Huss on Tuesday night at East Burke High School in the opening round of the 2A state dual team wrestling playoffs.
Hunter Huss enters the match with a 26-6 record while Polk County enters at 13-16. The match is slated to begin at 5 p.m.
The night’s other first-round match will feature East Burke (33-9) facing Central Academy (19-11). The two first-round winners will then meet to see which team advances to Thursday’s third round.

Madison, the Western Highlands Conference champion, will face West Wilkes (33-4) in its opening match. Madison and Polk County were the only two WHC teams to qualify as West Caldwell (27-14) earned the lone wildcard slot in the 2A West bracket.
