Trio of Wolverine wrestlers earn top four finishes at Rebel Invitational

Three Polk County wrestlers earned top four finishes Saturday at the Rebel Invitational tournament at Byrnes High School in Duncan, S.C.

Freshman Chase Emory led the Wolverine contingent with a third-place finish in the 132-pound weight class. Heavyweight D.J. Twitty and 195-pound class competitor Jerry Cox each earned fourth-place finishes.

Polk County will return to action on Jan. 8, opening Western Highlands Conference action with a tri-match with Mitchell and Avery.
