Schedule altered for state dual team wrestling playoffs

With winter weather affecting the state last weekend and possibly again this weekend, the North Carolina High School Athletic Association has modified the schedule for the state dual team wrestling playoffs.

Brackets for the state playoffs will now be determined and announced on Friday. The schedule for the postseason will then be as follows:

  • Tuesday, Feb. 3: First and second rounds:
  • Thursday, Feb. 5: Third round and regional final
  • Saturday, Feb. 7: State championship

Polk County is currently projected to be the second seed in the 3A West field. The Wolverines would host three other teams for the first two rounds on Tuesday.
