Polk County junior Tori Strickland will chase a state championship Saturday at the 2021 NCHSAA Women’s Wrestling Invitational at Glenn High School in Kernersville.

Strickland is part of the 106B division. She will open the tournament against a familiar foe, wrestling Mitchell’s Halley Wheeler in the first round.

Fourteen wrestlers are entered in the 106B division. The tournament has entrants from 80 schools competing in 11 weight classes.

Competition begins at 10 a.m.
