Polk County wrestlers Amon Villarreal and Zalen McCraw each recently reached the 150-win milestone for their careers.
Villarreal now holds a career record of 150-48, while McCraw stands at 156-39. Both wrestlers are closing in on the school record of 164 career wins held by Austin Ollis.
Villarreal, competing at 126 pounds, and McCraw, wrestling at 175 pounds, have been key contributors to Polk County’s success this season. The Wolverines enter the holiday break with a 21-2 record in dual matches.

McCraw won the 175-pound championship at last weekend’s EB Memorial tournament at Mallard Creek, while Villarreal placed fifth at 126 pounds.
With both wrestlers having the potential to surpass Ollis’s school record this season, they will look to continue adding to their win totals when Polk County returns to action Jan. 3 at the Enka Duals.
