Polk’s Blackwell notches 100th career victory

Polk County junior wrestler Styler Blackwell added another milestone Tuesday to his wrestling career.

Blackwell, who won a 1A West Regional title last season, earned the 100th win of his Wolverine tenure, pinning Hendersonville’s Brian Maximov to reach the milestone.

He is the third current Polk County wrestler to reach triple digits in wins, joining seniors Zalen McCraw and Amon Villarreal, who each surpassed that level last season.
