Polk County Middle’s wrestling squad rebounded from last week’s loss at Apple Valley with a convincing 72-35 victory Thursday at Flat Rock.

The Wolverines improved to 6-1 in Blue Ridge Conference East Division matches, 8-3 overall.

Polk Middle again relied on its strength in the lower weights, taking eight of the first nine matches to build a huge lead.

The Wolverines are scheduled to host Brevard Middle on Tuesday, weather permitting.
