Polk County Middle’s wrestling team stepped out of its Blue Ridge Conference schedule on Tuesday and posted a pair of dominant victories in a tri-match at R-S Middle.
The Wolverines handed R-S Middle a 66-34 loss, then routed Chase Middle 102-6. Polk Middle improved to 3-0 with the wins.
How they did it: Dominant performances throughout the lineup. Scoring two wins on the mat during the day were Liam Jackson, Efrain Rivera, Jaxtyn Virgil, Brody Wolfe, Connor Ahlert and Styler Blackwell.
