Polk Middle wrestlers dominate Hendersonville Middle to improve to 2-0

Polk County Middle earned a dominant win Thursday over Hendersonville Middle, handing the Bearcats a 78-28 setback in Blue Ridge Conference wrestling action in Hendersonville.

Polk Middle improved to 2-0 with the win.

The Wolverines picked up five wins by forfeit and claimed eight victories by pin on the mat. Polk dominated the middle weights, claiming seven straight class wins to take control of the match.

Polk Middle returns home Monday for a key BRC match with Flat Rock. That match begins at 4:30 p.m.
