Polk Middle thumps Apple Valley in East Division opener

Polk County Middle moved into its Blue Ridge Conference East Division schedule on Wednesday and earned a 72-24 victory at Apple Valley.

The Wolverines now own a 5-0 dual match record with the win.

How they did it: Polk delivered a convincing win with victories throughout the lineup, liming Apple Valley to just four individual match wins.

The Knights are traditionally one of the stronger programs in the BRC East, so it’s a great start to what promises to be a tough East Division slate for the Wolverines.

Next up: Polk Middle makes its home debut on Monday, the Wolverines hosting Hendersonville Middle at 4:30 p.m.
