Polk Middle returns to mat with victory at Rugby Middle

Polk Middle returned to the mat Tuesday for the first time in almost a month and continued its winning ways, downing Rugby Middle 67-31 in a Blue Ridge Conference match in Mills River.

The Wolverines (10-0) began their second pass through the BRC East Division with their 42nd straight victory, completing a season sweep of the Raiders (0-7).

Polk Middle is set to be back in action Thursday, hosting an Apple Valley squad that very nearly defeated the Wolverines earlier this season. That match is set to start at 4:30 p.m.
