Polk County Middle defeated Hendersonville Middle 87-18 on Thursday to remain unbeaten and set up a showdown for the Blue Ridge Conference East Division title.
The Wolverines (11-0) won 15 of 18 matches and can clinch their fourth consecutive division championship with a victory Monday at Flat Rock.
Ellis Searcy, Evan Taylor, Rhys Jackson and Oakley McDowell each won by technical fall for Polk County Middle. Tiernan Hanna, Eric Ramirez, Josh Odel, Coalden Cehan, Jax Gosnell, James Logan, Brycen Tuttle, Michael Jenkinson and Landon Plylar each earned pins. JJ Klimstra and Gabe Nelon won by forfeit.
