Cole Huntley was among the winners Thursday for Polk County Middle at Hendersonville Middle

Polk County Middle opened the second half of its Blue Ridge Conference East Division schedule on Thursday with an 81-24 victory at Hendersonville Middle.

The Wolverines improved to 10-0 overall, 6-0 in East Division matches, with the victory.

Polk scored pins in each of the first five matches to build a quick 30-0 lead, then reeled off seven consecutive individual wins later in the match.

The Wolverines travel Monday to Flat Rock for a key East Division clash as the Eagles currently sit in second place in the division.
