Polk County Middle opened its 2019-2020 wrestling season on Monday with a 72-30 victory at Canton Middle.

The Wolverines fielded wrestlers in all but one class and won six matches on the mat to go with six forfeits.

“Team captains Charlie Jackson, Luke Miller and Topher Pearson won and wrestled really well and I expect them to have a really good season ahead of them,” said Polk Middle head coach Jerry Cox.
