Polk County Middle School’s wrestling team will head into 2026 with a perfect record, defeating Apple Valley 84-20 on Monday in a Blue Ridge Conference match at Polk Middle.

The Wolverines (10-0) won 13 of 18 matches and will take an unblemished record into the Christmas break.

“It’s great to go on break with an undefeated record,” Polk Middle head coach Jerry Cox said. “We get to rest up these next few practices and grind on some of the smaller things to get better.”
