Polk Middle brings home three BRC individual titles, two second-place efforts

Polk County Middle capped one of the most successful seasons in school history on Wednesday with a stellar showing at the Blue Ridge Conference Individual Tournament in Waynesville.

Three Wolverines earned conference championships, two others had runner-up finishes and Polk Middle placed second in the team standings, trailing only conference champion Waynesville.

Brody Wolfe, Aidin Billings and Zalen McCraw each finished as BRC champions, with Blake Cole and Carson Bell earning second-place finishes. Polk’s Connor Ahlert and Zack McCraw added third-place efforts.

Zalen McCraw capped an undefeated season with his conference title, while it marked a second straight BRC crown for Wolfe.
