Marino wins class as Wolverines crack top five at Robbinsville tourney

The Polk County wrestling squad finished in the top five Saturday at the James Orr Memorial Invitational Tournament in Robbinsville.

Anthony Marino won first place in the 145-pound weight class to lead the Wolverines at the 16-team event. Polk County also got runner-up finishes from Chase Emory at 126 and Damion Cantrell at 171 and 4th-place finishes from D.J. Twitty at heavyweight and Dustin Calvert at 138.

The Wolverines return to action on Tuesday, traveling to Madison for a Western Highlands Conference match.
