Polk County continued its perfect start to the 2020 volleyball season on Tuesday, sweeping Mitchell in a Western Highlands Conference match in Ledger.
The Wolverines claimed a 25-12, 25-8, 25-7 win over the Mountaineers. Polk improved to 6-0 overall, 4-0 in WHC play, and has yet to drop a set. Mitchell fell to 0-4, 0-4.
Marissa Twitty had 10 kills for Polk County, with Ada Kelley adding six and Kinsley Huskey, Rachael Davis and Sara Wilson each recording three.
Kristen Hall had 15 digs, with Ella Waldman recording 14 and Rollins Carter notching 12. Hall also had five aces.
Emmie McDowell finished with 22 assists for Polk, which returns to the road on Thursday for another WHC battle at Mountain Heritage.
