Polk County rolled to a 3-0 win over Madison in Western Highlands Conference volleyball action Tuesday in Marshall.
On the court for the first time in almost two weeks, the Wolverines claimed a 25-13, 25-11, 25-16 victory, improving to 8-0 overall, 6-0 in WHC play. Madison dropped to 2-4, 2-4.
Adair Edeards and Marilyn Castillo each had five kills for Polk, with Marissa Twitty adding four. Castillo also had three aces and four digs.
Kristen Hall had 15 digs, five aces and four assist, with Rollins Carter adding 13 and Emmie McDowell notching a double-double with 18 assists and 10 digs.
Polk County begins a four-match homestand on Dec. 30, hosting Avery in a noon match. All four games, including the Avery match, will be broadcast live on the NFHS Network.
