Wolverines gear up for Hendersonville showdown with sweep at Owen

Polk County tuned up for Thursday’s conference clash with Hendersonville on Tuesday with a straight-set win over Owen in Swannanoa.

The Wolverines rolled to a 25-7, 25-9. 25-13 win, upping their record to 9-3 overall, 5-0 in Western Highlands Conference play. Hendersonville is currently tied for second, a game behind Polk, and defeated Brevard on Monday.

Addie Lynch had nine kills and two aces for Polk County, which also got four kills, 12 digs and three aces from Kendall Hall, 15 digs from Lauren Ketwitz, seven kills and five aces from Reagan Waddell and 20 assists, seven digs and three aces from Savannah Ross.

With her 12 digs, Hall surpassed the 900-dig mark for her career and now has 901 digs.
