Polk County had an easy time Thursday in extending its winning streak to nine matches, sweeping Mitchell in a Western Highlands Conference volleyball match at Polk.
The Wolverines posted a 25-10, 25-9, 25-8 victory to improve to 12-7 overall, 7-1 in conference play. Mitchell dropped to 1-14, 0-7.
Mireya Roman had six kills and six digs for Polk County, with Grace Lauer and Meadow Becker each adding four kills. Ansley Lynch had 10 digs and seven aces and Sydney Waldman had 16 assists for the Wolverines.

The Wolverines step out of conference play on Monday, traveling to Rosman.
