Polk County returned to Western Highlands Conference play on Thursday with a 3-0 sweep over Madison in varsity volleyball action in Marshall.

The Wolverines notched a 25-6, 25-15, 25-16 win, upping their record to 13-3 overall, 6-0 in WHC matches. Madison dropped to 0-8, 0-6.

Kristen Hall and Marissa Twitty each had five kills as 12 different players recorded kills for Polk. Carolina Castillo had 11 digs, with Rachael Davis adding six and Emmie McDowell, Rollins Carter and Sydney Waldman each finishing with five.

Waldman had 18 assists for Polk County, which hosts Kings Mountain on Monday in a non-conference match.
