Wolverine volleyball squads slated for Mountain Bash preseason event

The largest preseason volleyball event in Western North Carolina is slated for Saturday, with Polk County’s varsity and junior varsity scheduled to see plenty of action.

The fourth annual Mountain Bash preseason volleyball scrimmage will be held Saturday beginning at 9 a.m. at the Xcel Sportsplex in Hendersonville. Admission for spectators is $5, with doors opening at 8 a.m.

The day-long scrimmage will give fans a first look at Polk County’s 2015 squad, the Wolverines returning three starters from last season’s co-Western Highlands Conference champions.
