Setter Camdyn Israel-Garrett guided the Wolverines’ offense with 16 assists while contributing 15 digs on defense. The sophomore duo of Madalyn Varnadore (3 kills, 2 aces) and Olivia Kirk (ace, 7 digs) helped maintain pressure on the Rockets throughout the match.

The Wolverines’ defense proved particularly effective, with five players recording seven or more digs, including Ava Evans with eight defensive stops.

The win gives Polk County momentum heading into Thursday’s non-conference clash at West Henderson. That match is scheduled for 5 p.m.
