Wolverine JVs extend victory run with win at Patton

Polk County’s junior varsity ran its winning streak to four matches on Wednesday, defeating Patton 2-0 in a Mountain Foothills 7 Conference clash in Morganton.

The Wolverines claimed a 25-15, 25-21 win to improve to 9-4 overall, 5-1 in conference play.

Lexi Beiler had seven kills and four digs and Kylie Lewis had seven kills and five assists for Polk County. Hayden Blackwell added four kills and 11 assists.

Elena Carroll had 12 digs and three kills for the Wolverines, who travel Thursday to R-S Central for another MF7 match.
