Polk County’s junior varsity volleyball squad swept past Madison on Thursday to win its Western Highlands Conference opener at home.
The Wolverines notched a 25-20, 25-12 win to improve to 3-2 on the season.
Ashton Capozzi had five kills, 14 digs and three aces for the Wolverines, who also received 12 digs from Bella Bowser, 13 digs from Kate Padgett, eight kills from Lily Nelson and 20 assists from Amber Hall.

The Wolverines host T.C. Roberson on Tuesday at 5 p.m. in a non-conference match.
