West Henderson JVs top Polk County

West Henderson’s junior varsity scored a 2-0 win Tuesday over Polk County in a non-conference volleyball matchup at Polk.

The Falcons won 25-17, 25-9, improving to 16-1 for the season. Polk County dropped to 12-5.

Lexi Beiler had four kills for the Wolverines, with Hayden Blackwell adding three kills. Akeela Cunningham had three kills and three digs.

Charley Dusenbury had seven assists and Junie Mitchell had four, with Aslyn Scruggs recording five digs.

Mikala Fisher and Thais Vorbe each added four digs for Polk County, which will host Chase on Thursday at 5 p.m.
