Waldman records 1,500th assist in win over Avery

Polk County senior Sydney Waldman surpassed 1,500 career assists during Tuesday’s home volleyball match with Avery.

Waldman finished the Wolverines’ 3-0 with 17 assists, giving her 1,512 for her career. She set a school record last season with her 983 assists during Polk County’s run to the state 1A championship match.

Waldman began the night ranked sixth among state 1A players in assists according to MaxPreps data.
