Undefeated Brevard JVs sweep past Polk County

Brevard’s junior varsity remained undefeated Tuesday, handing Polk County a 2-0 setback in Mountain Foothills 7 Conference play at Polk.

The Wolverines fell 25-14, 25-12 to the Blue Devils, who are now 11-0 overall, 6-0 in conference play. Polk County dropped to 9-4 overall and 4-2 in league matches.

Akeela Cunningham had two kills and five digs for Polk County. Hayden Blackwell had seven digs while Charley Dusenbury added four digs and a pair of assists.

Junie Mitchell had three assists for Polk, which hits the road Thursday at Patton for another conference match.
