T.C. Roberson JVs outlast Polk in three-set thriller

T.C. Roberson finally emerged Thursday with a 2-1 win over Polk County in a hard-fought junior varsity volleyball game at Polk.

The Rams squeezed out a 21-25, 25-20, 18-16 victory, dropping the Wolverines to 1-1 on the season.

Reeve Carroll recorded nine kills and 31 digs for Polk County, with Jill Brown adding seven kills and eight digs. Louisa Wood had four kills and eight digs.

Abby Lewis notched 17 digs, with Claire Lawrence adding 11. Lewis also finished with 18 assists.

Polk County will be back in action on Tuesday, hosting Crest for a non-conference match starting at 4:30 p.m.
