Solid serving evening helps power Polk JVs past Hendersonville

Polk County’s junior varsity rolled Thursday to a 2-0 win over Hendersonville in a Mountain Foothills 7 Conference meeting in Hendersonville.

The Wolverines posted a 25-12, 25-17 victory, upping their record to 4-2 overall, 2-0 in conference matches.

Polk County served 15 aces in the match, with Abby Lewis recording seven. Lewis also had seven digs and four assists.

Reeve Carroll had eight digs and five kills, with Claire Lawrence adding three digs and two aces. Jessie Bradley had three aces.

Polk County will next be in action on Tuesday, traveling to R-S Central.
