Roberson stops Polk in non-conference volleyball battle

T.C. Roberson handed Polk County its first loss of the season on Thursday, sweeping the Wolverines in a non-conference match in Skyland.

The Rams notched a 25-17, 25-18, 25-19 victory to improve to 3-0 on the season. All three wins have come against Western Highlands Conference teams, with Roberson defeating Hendersonville and Madison this week.

Polk County (1-1) got eight kills and 19 digs from Reagan Waddell, seven kills from Cameron Capozzi and four kills and 15 digs from Addie Lynch. Georgia Garrett and Lauren Ketwitz each had 11 assists and six digs while Kendall Hall had 21 digs.

The Wolverines are back in action on Tuesday, hosting West Henderson in a non-conference battle.
