Polk volleyballers to conclude preseason at North Henderson jamboree

Polk County’s varsity volleyball squad will wrap up its preseason schedule with a day of action on Saturday at the North Henderson jamboree.

The Wolverines will be one of 13 teams taking part in the jamboree, which will be held at North Henderson and adjoining Apple Valley Middle School.

Polk County will face conference rival and defending state champion Hendersonville and season-opening foe West Henderson during the day.

Here is the complete schedule for the Wolverines:

8:30 a.m., Polk County vs. Smoky Mountain, auxiliary gym
9 a.m.: Polk County vs. Hendersonville, Apple Valley Middle School
10 a.m.: Polk County vs. North Henderson, main gym, court two
11:30 a.m.: Polk County vs. Swain County, main gym, court one
12:30 p.m.: Polk County vs. Pisgah, main gym, court one
2 p.m.: Polk County vs. Reynolds, auxiliary gym
3:30 p.m.: Polk County vs. Fred T. Foard, main gym, court two
4 p.m.: Polk County vs. West Henderson, main gym, court one
