Polk County made quick work of Tuesday’s conference match with Avery, rolling to a straight-set home victory.
The Wolverines notched a 25-9, 25-6, 25-12 win, improving to 10-2 overall, 3-0 in Western Highlands Conference matches.
Grace Lauer had 10 kills and seven digs for Polk, with Kristen Hall finishing with 15 digs and two kills and Carolina Castillo posting 11 digs. Rachael Davis added 10 digs.

Sydney Waldman had 17 assists, including the 1,500th of her career, and Emmie McDowell added four assists for the Wolverines.
Polk County hosts Brevard on Wednesday in a non-conference clash of two of the area’s top teams. Brevard defeated Polk County earlier this season.
