Polk Middle to host Apple Valley in 2020 volleyball opener

Polk County Middle School’s volleyball squad will open its 2020 season at home on Nov. 16 against Apple Valley.

A season delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic will will feature 10 regular-season games, with Polk only playing teams from the Blue Ridge Conference’s East Division. A four-team postseason tourmanent featuring the top two teams in the East and West divisions is planned.

The Wolverines will face each East Division member twice in a home-and-home series.
