Two tough regular-season games remain, but Polk County Middle’s volleyball team may be peaking at the right time.
The Wolverines notched a 25-8, 25-17 win Monday at Flat Rock, improving their record to 6-4 overall with their second straight win.
Brianna Powell had four kills and Adair Edwards had seven aces to lead Polk Middle.

“We installed a new lineup after the loss to Apple Valley and it seems like girls are stepping up as we make a push for the playoffs,” said Polk Middle head coach Matthew Russell.
The Wolverines conclude their regular-season home schedule on Wednesday, hosting Brevard Middle.
